OU receiver Jadon Haselwood enters transfer portal


NORMAN, Oklahoma (KFOR) – Following the loss of their head coach, a top receiver has announced he is leaving the University of Oklahoma.

OU wide receiver Jadon Haselwood on Monday caught on Instagram to announce that he is entering the transfer portal.

“Dear Sooner Nation: It was a childhood dream for me to be a Sooner and I am blessed to have been able to experience this. After careful consideration and due to many factors, I have decided to enter the transfer portal. Thanks to everyone who supported me. I am proud of the growth I have had during my time in Oklahoma and look forward to building on this next season in a new program, ”he said.

The sophomore redshirt has recorded 39 catches for 399 yards and six touchdowns for the Sooners this season.

Haselwood was a five-star rookie out of high school and was the # 4 rookie in 2019 by Rivals.
