Oklahoma City DAA Hires Former XLerate COO As New General Manager

Oklahoma City Auto Auction Dealers has appointed a new general manager to replace longtime general manager Bruce Beam.

Former XLerate Group COO Pat Stevens was hired for the role, whose experience also includes time with Manheim and ADESA.

Stevens began his career in the auto auction industry in 1993 at Manheim Dallas, where he was a fleet manager. He became Managing Director of ADESA Dallas in 2000 before moving on to regional vice president and executive vice president of the auction company.

He became COO of XLerate in 2017

“I am very happy to be part of the DAAOKC team. Along with the strong physical location, our goal will be to grow both our physical and online presence in our market, ”Stevens said in a press release. “We have an established brand here and I hope to continue and build on the family legacy that owner Gary Smith has created. ”

Smith, the owner of DAAOKC, said, “We are honored to have someone with the experience and industry knowledge that Pat has to join our team. Bruce has done a great job leading the team and we have every confidence that Pat will continue where he left off and take us to the next level.
