Crews battled a fire at a pallet business Thursday in southeast Oklahoma City. Firefighters responded around 11:30 a.m. to an HR Pallets fire report near Southeast 29th Street and South Eastern Avenue, where they reported flames in piles of wooden pallets. Company employees told firefighters they smelled smoke and found a grass fire as well as burning pallets behind the building. They attempted to put out the fire but were unsuccessful, authorities said. The crews extinguished the fire. Authorities said no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
