Gavco Plastics expands operations to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma


Gavco Plastics, a plastic injection molding company, will expand operations from its manufacturing facility in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

The company will increase its machine and labor capacity to expand an existing contract, which is expected to result in a 10% increase in annual sales.

“Gavco Plastics would not be able to meet the ever-increasing demands of our customers without the assistance and support of the OIEP program,” said Randy Gavlik, president and owner of Gavco Plastics. “Through the program, Gavco Plastics has obtained additional machinery and significantly increased our workforce to meet our customers’ needs.”

The company was one of 123 projects funded through Oklahoma’s Innovation Expansion Program. Gavco received $110,000, according to state officials.

Founded in 1976, Gavco Plastics offers customers technical support, custom product testing and secondary operations including screen printing, pad printing, assembly, packaging and shipping. The company is ISO 9001-2008 certified for manufacturing and AS9100 for work in the aviation/aerospace industry. Recently, it obtained ISO 13485 medical device certification.
